Job Description Responsibilities include:

Apply slings, sling‑n‑swathe, orthopedic splints, and dressings; transport unmonitored patients to inpatient departments and stable monitored patients to PCU/med‑tele or accompany RN to specialty units.

Assist physicians or RNs with procedures and exams (suturing, pelvic exams, lumbar punctures, orthopedic casting), setup and cleanup.

Perform hourly rounding, document patient status, manage call bells, pillows, blankets, and caregiver board.

Observe and document infusion sites, remove IV lines as directed.

Perform venipuncture, insert peripheral IV and intraosseous access, optionally with POCUS; manage IV fluid rates.

Initiate oxygen therapy, cardiac monitoring, detect dysrhythmias, report abnormalities.

Attach and complete 12‑lead EKGs; provide strips to on‑duty physician.

Accurately enter orders and provide age‑appropriate, mobility‑appropriate, and culturally appropriate patient care.

Champion customer service: keep patients informed, apologize for waits, advocate pain management, ensure assistance availability.

Follow CDC isolation guidelines, use PPE, wash hands, enforce safety regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent.

ACLS certification (RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement).

BLS certification (CPR, RQI).

Licensed Paramedic (PARA – EV Accredited Issuing Body).

PALS certification (RQI).

Other required credentials as specified.

Pay Range:

$20.38 – $32.60 per hour
