We have an immediate need for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant in our Washington, D.C. office. The position offers a range of responsibilities and opportunities that will utilize your strong administrative and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet visitors in a warm and friendly manner, answer any questions and alert principals of their arrival
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Maintain reception area in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitors, recording properly in the building’s system for proper entry to the office
- Manage conference rooms using software system ensuring meetings and events are properly recorded
- Organize and maintain a schedule of daily events and conference rooms
- Communicate office wide email that alerts employees to events of the day as well as incoming visitors
- Maintain list of visitors from other offices and assign offices as needed for their visit
- Assist Office Administrator and the other members of the support team with a variety of tasks
- Confirm and reconcile office invoices; including monthly Uber invoice and submit for timely payment
- Exercise judgement in responding to unique and urgent situations, as well as managing and communicating various requests
- Assist Facilities Coordinator, Events Specialist and Hospitality team with conference room needs
- Operate standard office equipment
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- A professional demeanor combined with refined interpersonal skills to interact with individuals in various roles
- A minimum of two years' experience working within receptionist/administrative assistant role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong PC skills are also required, specifically in Word and Excel
Compensation and Benefits
Brownstein offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k + match, profit sharing, and vacation/sick/personal time off, in addition this role pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. We are offering salary for this role, ranging from $56,000-$68,000.
