Position Overview: This adjunct faculty position involves planning and delivering instruction to students in both in‑person and online formats, utilizing technology tools for teaching and assessment.

Compensation & Work Details:

• Pay: $40.00/hr (base pay range)
• Work Location: Martinsville – 690 (University Campus)
• Position Type: Part Time (Full Time or Part Time; No telework options currently available)
• Instruction Modes: In‑person, hybrid, and/or online

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver classroom instruction to students.
• Use computers and instructional technology for effective teaching.
• Assist in emergency response duties as required by agency or state government.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Heavy Equipment Operator experience.
• Proficiency with computers and instructional technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Additional Considerations: No operation of a state vehicle; does not supervise employees; no required travel.
