Job Summary
Schedule 10am – 2pm, Monday through Friday. The Cafe Cashier rings in customer sales, maintains cleanliness of cafeteria dining areas and restocks supplies.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate and meet customer needs; rectify issuesli>
- Stock and replenish cafeteria items.>
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, servery and equipment.
- Prepare catering orders and break down carts.
- Ring customer purchases into cash register.
- Cash out register at end of shift.
- Adhere to HACCP and cash handling standards.
- Alert supervisor to concerns.
- Support department goals to improve retail satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; experience can substitute degree.
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic arithmetic skills, use a calculator.
- English reading, speaking and communication.
- Independent judgment; juggle multiple tasks in fast‑paced environment.
