Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! customer service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
  • Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
  • Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
  • Delivery Operations – Drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
  • Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
  • Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
  • Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
  • Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age: at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

You’ll Go the Extra Mile If You Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
  • Previous experience in automotive retail.
  • A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.
