Job Description
AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well‑stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. In this Delivery Driver role, you’ll use company‑provided vehicles to deliver parts to commercial customers, with no Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers.
- Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth teamwork.
- Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals.
- Drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries and accurate loading/unloading.
- Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
- Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies.
- Process customer payments securely.
- Stay updated on promotions and automotive products and maintain delivery vehicles.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18.
- Valid driver’s license and adherence to driver safety requirements.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Additional Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication in Spanish and English.
- Previous automotive retail experience.
- Hazmat endorsement preferred.
