Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Location: Lansing, MI
Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | Hybrid
About The Role: Our client, an established organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and support continued growth. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys both hands‑on work and leadership responsibilities, with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage financials for investors and assist with reporting.
- Budgeting: Partner with leadership to prepare budgets and monitor adherence.
- Compliance: Ensure accuracy with GAAP standards, chart of accounts, coding, and billing.
- Reporting: Generate and customize financial reports using accounting software.
- Month‑End Close: Lead reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting at month‑end.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including journal entries, reporting, and month‑end close
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to make adjustments and manipulate data
- Previous leadership or departmental management experience
- Proactive and able to work independently
Preferred:
- Background in healthcare accounting
- Experience with Sage 50 or NetSuite
