Base pay range: $15.49/hr - $18.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fast, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend items for sale; handle trade‑ups and companion items.
• Register customer purchases, collect cash, provide change, process voids, returns, refunds, exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement asset‑protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays (promotional, seasonal, super structures, sale merchandise). Complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation using first‑in, first‑out.
• Have a working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area (passport photo service, poster print, creative machine, promotional photo products).
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders, pick items, deliver orders).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition.
• Comply with all company policies; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer previous work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer fluency in English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
