Senior Accountant

As the Senior Accountant you will support the financial operations, month‑end close, payroll activities and benefits administration. Base pay range

$65,000 – $85,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts; reconcile bank accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit card/expense report audits.
• Manage biweekly payroll processing; review wages, deductions, and benefit changes.
• Coordinate employee benefits updates, open enrollment tasks, and payroll liability reconciliations.
• Prepare sales tax filings and support fixed asset and prepaid schedules.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting support, and audit preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills (Microsoft NAV or similar).
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Paycor) and benefits administration preferred.
• Strong accuracy, organization, and ability to manage tight deadlines.
• CPA or CMA a plus.
