Exciting Opportunity for Physician Assistants in Urgent Care and Family Practice!
Join our dynamic team as a Physician Assistant specializing in Family Practice, Acute Care, or Urgent Care settings. This pivotal role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering quality care to diverse patient populations, including adults and pediatrics, in multiple locations within a 65-mile radius. Be a key player in providing essential urgent care services, managing a wide spectrum of conditions, and performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. We seek dedicated, skilled professionals ready to make a positive impact on patient health and well-being.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of 12 months of pertinent clinical experience in urgent or family practice settings.
- Board Certification (BC) or NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants, Family Nurse Practitioner certification for NPs.
- Valid PA certification and BLS certification.
- Proficiency in using Epic EMR, with demonstrated experience or training in its utilization.
- Ability to independently evaluate and treat all assigned patients confidently.
- Strong soft skills for effective communication with support staff and patients.
- Excellent procedural skills for minor procedures.
- Willingness to work in urgent care settings with adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and up.
Additional Skills That Will Set You Apart:
- Experience with minor procedures beyond basic interventions.
- Familiarity with pediatric care, especially in urgent or family medicine.
- Previous experience working in multiple clinical locations within a defined radius.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- At least 12 months of relevant clinical experience post-certification.
- Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice settings.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start by December 24, 2025.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, as supervision is provided remotely.
- Willingness to undergo Epic EMR training and onboarding prior to performing solo shifts.
- No travel reimbursements available; limited to mileage within a 65-mile radius from your residence.
