Required Skills:
  • Minimum 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or acute care settings
  • Board-certified: NCCPA for PAs, Family NP Certification for NPs
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic is preferred
  • Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat all patient ages (6 months and up)
  • Skillful in performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations, and other urgent care interventions
  • Strong soft skills to effectively collaborate with support staff and connect with patients
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work autonomously without onsite supervision, with support from a supervising physician

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with pediatric patients
  • Familiarity with additional urgent care procedures
  • Previous experience working in multiple clinic settings within a 65-mile radius
  • Multilingual abilities or additional certifications in advanced procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Proven experience of at least one year in urgent, acute, or family medicine
  • Recent graduate considered if accompanied by appropriate certifications and training
  • Certified in ER, family medicine, or urgent care specialties

Other Requirements:
  • Valid registration and ability to obtain Medicare Enrollment
  • Must be able to work across multiple locations within a 65-mile radius surrounding your residence
  • Ability to complete EMR training and onboarding prior to starting solo shifts
  • No travel or lodging reimbursement; support is limited to mileage

This position offers an hourly rate of $1.00, with shifts beginning on December 23, 2025. The role involves delivering urgent and acute care to both adult and pediatric patients, with an average of 20 patients per day, up to a maximum of 40 per day depending on site needs. Candidates should be prepared to work independently, manage a diverse case load, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
