Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urgent Care!
Are you a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about providing high-quality urgent care services? We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver exceptional care in fast-paced urgent care settings. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in patient lives while working with a supportive team across multiple locations within a 65-mile radius.
In this vital role, you will independently evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older) presenting with urgent medical conditions. Your expertise will enable you to perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. Proficiency in EPIC EMR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work confidently as the sole provider are essential. You will collaborate with support staff, including center managers and medical assistants, ensuring smooth operations and superior patient care.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent care, acute care, or emergency medicine
- Board certification (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards) required
- Valid PA certification or Family Nurse Practitioner certification
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to see and manage all patients independently
- Strong soft skills and excellent patient communication
- Ability to perform minor procedures (I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in pediatric urgent care settings
- Familiarity with additional EMR systems
- Bilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- A minimum of one year of relevant urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Board-certified practitioners preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to support multiple sites within a 65-mile radius
- Weekend or evening availability may be required based on site needs
- No travel reimbursement; mileage only
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: This is a placeholder; competitive pay packages and weekly direct deposit payments are provided)
