Drive revenue growth by expanding the firm’s client base and deepening relationships with existing accounts.
Lead the end-to-end BD process, from initial outreach to closing new mandates, ensuring a seamless transition to the search execution team.
Stay ahead of market trends and hiring needs within capital raising, investor relations, distribution, and related functions.
Executive Relationship Management & Market Positioning
Serve as a senior representative of the firm in high-profile industry settings, including conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with senior executives, including Heads of Investor Relations, Chief Marketing Officers, and Distribution Leaders.
Develop targeted outreach strategies to engage fund managers, C‑suite executives, and HR leaders overseeing talent acquisition.
Ensure high‑touch engagement with key clients and prospects through thoughtful follow‑ups, relationship nurturing, and strategic touchpoints.
Own and manage the BD pipeline, ensuring consistent growth in retained search mandates and long‑term partnerships.
Oversee outbound campaigns, leveraging industry intelligence and personalized outreach to engage top‑tier prospects.
Manage key account plans to maximize client retention and drive repeat business.
Track and optimize business development performance metrics, ensuring BD activities align with revenue goals.
Event & Conference Strategy
Lead strategy for corporate sponsorships, hosted events, and key industry conferences.
Identify and secure speaking engagements, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that enhance the firm’s positioning.
Oversee post‑event follow‑up, ensuring effective relationship‑building with new and existing contacts.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Team Collaboration
Partner with executive leadership to refine BD strategies and align with overall firm goals.
Work closely with search execution teams to ensure seamless client handovers and successful mandate execution.
Collaborate with research and market intelligence teams to leverage insights in BD efforts.
Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to junior BD team members.
Key Performance Indicators
Growth in retained search mandates and long‑term client relationships.
Expansion of relationships with key hiring decision‑makers in capital raising and investor relations.

Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of experience in business development, executive search, or a related field within alternative asset management.
Proven track record of winning business and expanding sales desk.
Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior industry leaders.
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and strategic sales skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Ezekia, Salesforce) for tracking BD performance.
