Seasonal Business Tax Expert

What You Will Do
Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information responsibly.
Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver the right answer to customers in everyday language.
Interact with customers through video communication software, documenting all interactions accurately.
Engage with customers and team members in a professional manner while upholding Intuit’s operating values, including “integrity without compromise.”
What You Need
At least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season.
Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Strong customer service skills for video and audio interactions.
Proficiency with technology, solid computer operations, and software use.
Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Valid PTIN and willingness to obtain any necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Working knowledge of Circular 230.
Compensation Intuit provides a competitive pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. Expected base pay ranges:
Bay Area, CA: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Southern California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Minnesota: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
New York: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour
Vermont: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
Washington: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour
Washington DC: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour
