This position starts on Dec 16, 2025, and features 12-hour weekday shifts and weekend coverage, with a rotating 36/40 schedule and every other weekend required. Responsibilities and Duties Provide autonomous urgent care services to a high volume of patients (40+ per shift) Collaborate with a medical assistant and front desk staff as part of the care team Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans Perform procedures and manage acute illnesses and injuries as appropriate for urgent care Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinic protocols Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements
Additional Information Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina Must be able to work independently; new graduates will not be considered Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required DOT certification is a plus Flexibility to cover shifts at nearby sites as needed
