Raytheon invites applications for a Systems Administrator – focused on Windows operating systems – to support critical, classified programs. The position is fully onsite at the Tewksbury, MA facility.

What You Will Do
Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
Obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
Support 24×7 operations; occasional after‑hours work may be required.
Travel up to 5% of the year to other U.S. domestic sites.
Fully onsite.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Active U.S. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Windows operating systems.
Experience documenting technical problems and solutions.
Qualifications We Value
DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an operating system certification.
Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
Knowledge of Windows Server, Zero Clients, data storage (NAS, SAN) technologies.
Experience with IT project lifecycle management.
Experience with VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX and/or other virtualization.
Support for engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, Exchange.
Proficiency in scripting languages (bash, VBScript, PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
Benefits and Compensation Competitive salary range $66,000 – $130,000. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and additional incentives based on role level.
