Responsibilities
Manage complex litigation matters from start to finish
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Strategize case development and provide legal analysis
Attend court appearances, depositions, and client meetings
Collaborate with partners on case planning and litigation strategy
Work closely with clients
Enjoys developing case strategy, litigation, enjoys a fast‑paced environment
Qualifications
3–10 years of complex litigation experience, preferably in business, real estate, or insurance coverage matters
Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
Experience draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, deposition, trial
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Confident and strategic, with the ability to take initiative and present ideas
Not risk‑averse — comfortable making recommendations and leading case strategy
Eager to grow in an intellectually stimulating and collaborative environment
Enjoys a broad range of complex litigation and thrives in a dynamic setting
Appreciates mentorship and enjoys bouncing around legal theories and case strategy
Interested in working directly with partners and sophisticated clients
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive Salary: $170K–$275K DOE
Bonuses: Generous production bonuses (based on billed hours), discretionary bonuses, and consistent review and salary increases based on performance
Reasonable Billables: 1600‑hour billable target
Benefits: Healthcare, 401(k) with match, full professional expenses paid, monthly marketing allowance, parking, % originations and more
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in‑office after onboarding)
