We are currently seeking a Certifed Payroll Specialist for our West Region, full time in‑office role out of Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
Submit certified payroll for organization and subcontractors
Audit certified payroll for organization and subcontractors
Prove understanding of Certified payroll, California labor law and collective bargaining agreements
Manage all reporting deadlines with each agency and ensure certified payroll is submitted in a timely manner
Track, collect, and enter data into internal and external payroll systems as needed
Filing and scanning payroll documents, per project and legal requirements
Ad hoc reports

Requirements
Must have 1‑3 years of labor compliance experience working in California (Construction industry a plus)
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Knowledge in standard concepts, practices, and procedures
Previous work experience in a fast‑paced team environment (preferred)
Knowledge of California state labor and payroll compliance requirements
Knowledge of Union requirements/agreements
CPR certification a plus
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization. Capable of managing projects and tasks successfully to completion
Ability to work independently
Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
In‑depth understanding of labor rules and regulations
Strong numerical skills
Working knowledge of LCP Tracker, or similar
Knowledge of MS office
