Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to evaluate user requests for new or modified products and systems. The ideal candidate will analyze business systems and user needs, translate requirements into actionable deliverables, and ensure solutions align with overall business strategies. This role requires strong Agile experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and analyze user requests for new or enhanced products and system functionality.
Analyze business systems and user needs to formulate solutions aligned with business strategy.
Collaborate closely with Agile delivery teams, technical staff, business partners, and vendors.
Lead requirements‑gathering activities including workshops, interviews, and document analysis.
Translate business and system requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Track and manage requirements throughout the full SDLC lifecycle.
Identify, document, and help mitigate project risks.
Develop UAT test scripts and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting medium to large‑scale projects.
Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, including story writing and backlog refinement.
Hands‑on experience with requirements documentation, traceability, and SDLC processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Visio, Draw.io, Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, Confluence, and BI tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate alternative solutions and make sound recommendations.
Soft Skills
Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail and multitasking capability.
