Senior
Subcontracts Administrator
– Procurement Team (Tampa, Orlando, FL, Austin, Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA, or any AtkinsRéalis office)

How will you contribute to the team?
Provide sub‑contract support to Project Managers and other internal clients.
Assist subcontractors in registering in the company's database. Review Certificates of Insurance for compliance with Prime contract and/or company standard insurance terms. Review scope of work to ensure HSE requirements are coordinated.
Assist with Request for Proposal form and verify its accuracy and completeness. Interface with affected groups to clarify and ensure necessary data has been included.
Receive subcontractors' responses to RFPs, assess their ability to meet company and project requirements, and prepare and issue subcontracts within delegated procurement authority.
Prepare subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow‑down requirements from the prime contract.
Ensure terms and conditions are appropriate and risk is managed.
Process purchase requisitions for expenses related to subcontractor engagement, up to the issuance of purchase orders.
Assist or lead negotiation of terms and conditions, leveraging the Contracts Manager and Subcontract Manager as needed.
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of sub‑contract initiatives.
Ensure purchase requisitions are coded properly and approved per the authorization matrix. Resolve PO/invoice discrepancies with AP and end users, and work with Finance as needed.
Review contract terms for variance to templates, edit, comment, and submit for legal review. Negotiate acceptable terms with subcontractors and file fully executed contracts in the required repository. Monitor termination dates and send cancellation notices as required.
Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Assist with development, modification, and documentation of subcontract policies and procedures.
Perform other assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, plus a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in procurement or contracts administration.
Associate's degree with twelve years of relevant experience.
Without a degree, fourteen years of relevant experience required.
Working knowledge of subcontracting activities typical to the engineering and construction industry is preferred.
Solid understanding of terms and conditions for subconsultants, especially in the professional services space, and ability to negotiate independently, aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
Good analytical and organizational skills. Ability to perform mathematical calculations, understand contract types and compensation methods, organize information, and use PC and applicable software.
Preferred certifications: NCMA Certified, Paralegal Certificate.
