About the Role We are seeking an experienced
IT Project Manager
to support a large-scale
Performance Management & Analytics System (PMAS)
initiative under the Office of Chief Data Architect. This role focuses on
data integration and analytics
within a structured governance framework and involves managing complex, multi-agency projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead PMAS initiatives, overseeing resource allocation, work plans, and schedules.
Collaborate with data architecture and analytics teams on
Cloud Analytics for Access & Eligibility Services Reporting .
Develop and publish project management documentation aligned with industry frameworks.
Create RFPs for designing and implementing data management solutions.
Secure federal matching funds through federally approved IAPDs.
Manage expanding data integrations across multiple departments.
Maintain strong communication and partnership with analytics and reporting teams.
Establish strategic roadmaps in coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
Conduct procurement exercises and manage timelines and resource approvals.
Deliver project management artifacts and manage day-to-day operations, including Agile scrums.
Identify risks and coordinate resolutions effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
8 years
of IT Project Management experience.
5 years
in data management solutions (data warehouses, data lakes), analytics/BI, web-based development, or SOA.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to develop clear project documentation.
Expertise in team leadership, mentoring, and facilitation.
Proficiency in risk management and progress monitoring.
Full lifecycle experience with
PMLC
and
SDLC .
Budget tracking and cost management experience.
Agile methodology expertise (sprints, backlog grooming, Kanban).
Active PMP Certification
required.
