Serves as a senior advisor to the Chief and other key officials, in all aspects of contracting. Advises the Branch Chiefs in matters concerning contracting or contract administration. Manage the procurement of all types of contracts which entails the full range of procurement functions. Duties include procurement analysis, systems administration, and the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program. Requirements

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Position is designated as Non-Sensitive-No access is required. This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty. This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed. This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
