19 Location of Position
2 vacancies: 300 N. Gay Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 and 1100 Mercantile Lane, Largo, MD 20774. Main Purpose of Job
Community Detention Administrator IV will provide administrative supervision of regional CD operations, including Community Field Operations, Command Center, and GPS/CDRR Rapid Response Teams. The administrator will work with Executive Directors to meet departmental goals and ensure compliance with CD and GPS standard operating procedures. The role requires 24/7 availability to respond to EM/GPS needs. Responsibilities
Supervise and supervise operations of community detention and GPS teams. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and departmental goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to drive operational improvements. Maintain 24/7 on‑call duties to support operational needs. Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalency. Experience: Six years of administrative staff or professional work. Experience substitutions noted in original. Desired or Preferred Qualifications
Six years of experience in Community Detention Operations. Two years of planning/supervisory experience in a 24/7 operational environment. Reliability and flexibility to meet staffing, scheduling, and attendance in a public safety setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders and convey operational expectations and policy requirements. Benefits
