Job Description

You will be a F-35 Degrader Action Cell Lead – Level 4.

What You Will Be Doing

Leading cross-functional projects focused on sustainment improvements and cost-reduction initiatives for the F-35 fleet.

Investigating and analyzing performance degraders, supply chain posture, and maintenance practices to recommend actionable solutions.

Supporting the development and optimization of maintenance plans, including updates to existing procedures and documentation.

Driving project lifecycles end-to-end – from identification and triage, through solution development, implementation, and closure.

Preparing and delivering high-level briefings to executive leadership, the Joint Program Office (JPO), and other key stakeholders.

Clearly communicating technical analysis, project impacts, associated risks, and expected efficiencies.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent technical education and/or experience

Holds demonstrated Project Management and/or Engineering Skills to lead and conduct analysis of complex sustainment/engineering/supply chain issues.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to meet program or project schedule milestones.

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Desired skills

Experience with Root Cause, Corrective Actions (Six Sigma) or similar.

Project Management Certification.

Understanding of Aircraft Status Reporting and Performance Indicators (Production/Maintenance Control).

Experience with analysis tools, data management, or comparative analysis.

Proficient with workflow management tools (Jira, Confluence, Tableau).

Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
