Quality Inspector
Location: Mesa, AZ
Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Salary: Starts at $21.40 HR
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to support our Quality department. In this role, you will ensure that all molded and machined parts meet company and industry standards throughout the manufacturing process, including first piece, receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
You’ll work hands‑on with precision measurement equipment and apply product specifications to maintain our commitment to high‑quality production. This position plays a key role in sustaining our KAITEKI values by helping maintain a positive, safe, and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, etc.)
Interpret and apply blueprints, GD&T symbols, and customer / industry specifications
Complete and maintain accurate inspection records and non‑conformance reports
Follow Quality Management System procedures in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS 9100 standards
Identify, document, and control non‑conforming products
Work independently with minimal supervision
Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized production environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic math and measurement skills
Some technical training or relevant experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Initiative and self‑motivation
Accountability and reliability
Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
GD&T knowledge or certification preferred
ASQ Quality Inspector Certification is a plus
Pay Transparency The starting hourly rate for this position starts at $21.40. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, job‑related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
