Job Overview We are searching for a Director, Intracellular (ITCI) Portfolio Strategy Operations & Commercial Insights within global Neuroscience, located in Raritan, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Support and enable the end‑to‑end strategy for the Intracellular portfolio and collaborate across cross‑functional teams to drive and operate best‑in‑class global strategy development processes and governance.

Drive key internal processes and maximize coordination throughout GCSO functions, enhancing connectivity and alignment with regions and functions.

Ensure consistent standards and practices for key commercial deliverables, building efficient governance and ways of working for the ITCI portfolio.

Drive executional excellence across ITCI portfolio in GCSO Neuroscience.

Lead coordination and delivery of key GCSO strategic commercial and operational deliverables (e.g., BP, LRFP, WWSAP, Global Dashboards, post‑acquisition requirements, special projects).

Navigate the J&J network, leveraging relationships to advocate for the ITCI portfolio and influence key stakeholders and decision makers through the organization.

Identify and recommend new opportunities and ideas that further drive portfolio value and global patient impact across the ITCI portfolio.

Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic KPI tracking (performance, launch) for CAPLYTA®.

Commercial Insights

Function as a “player‑coach” for the commercial insights function, leading and coordinating all commercial insights activities across the ITCI portfolio of assets.

Lead the synthesis of global commercial insights across ITCI portfolio programs, identifying groundbreaking strategies to evolve growth.

Enhance insights and analytics capabilities that support key strategic global commercial processes (e.g., ADP/WWSAP; governance processes; annual budget planning; LRFP; commercial evaluations for BD).

Build partnerships and new ways of collaborating with stakeholders to deliver fit‑for‑purpose insights and analytics.

Ensure consistency in the implementation of key processes across commercial insights and analytics functions.

Develop insight‑based market assumptions that include a global market dynamics perspective and translate key business questions into clear deliverables.

Lead early and late development forecasting for ITCI programs, synthesizing insights to inform forecast assumptions, build global patient‑based market models, and drive cross‑functional forecasting collaboration.

Monitor, collaborate, and communicate commercial insights cross‑functionally with finance, medical affairs, regulatory, and other key functions.

Effectively and persuasively present findings and recommendations to a broad, cross‑functional audience, including leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience with at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector.

Core Skills: Advanced communication, presentation, and strategic analysis; expertise in cross‑functional collaboration; advanced influencing and negotiating; operational excellence; prior forecasting and market insights experience; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred: 2–4 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience with secondary pharmaceutical data sources and modeling; understanding of the product development process (NME declaration through launch).

Other: Position primarily based in Raritan, NJ, with up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $150,000 to $258,750. Eligible for Company‑sponsored benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, legal insurance, retirement plans, and long‑term incentive program.
