Corporate Accountant (ASC 842 Leases & Related)
Location: Hybrid (Palo Alto, California) 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Base pay range $105.00/hr - $105.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
Preparing or reviewing SOX-compliant working papers across areas such as leases, debt, and other areas to support the month and quarter-end close.
Coach and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on documentation standards and accounting best practices.
Be responsible for the end-to-end process for assigned areas, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal and SOX standards.
Assist in standardizing processes and documentation across accounting functions to improve efficiency and consistency.
Support ad hoc accounting projects and initiatives related to assigned business areas.
Collaborate with the broader accounting and finance teams to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions.
Work together with our global accounting team (US and India).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Active CPA certification required.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including review and coaching responsibilities.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
Technical experience with ASC 842 Lease, debt, capitalized software, etc.
Experience participating in and running the month/quarter-end close.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide and support junior staff.
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, as well as experience with Blackline and NetSuite.
Required experience with LeaseQuery (lease accounting) and NetSuite.
