Senior Accountant

Overview We are seeking a part‑time Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with public company requirements. This role will play a key part in month‑end close and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.

Maintain and enhance accounting processes within NetSuite (GL, Fixed Assets, Revenue, Intercompany).

Support SEC reporting (10‑K, 10‑Q) and external audits.

Analyze variances and provide insights to FP&A and leadership.

Ensure SOX controls are designed, documented, and operating effectively.

Assist with system enhancements, new accounting standards, and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred).

5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company exposure.

Hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP.

Solid knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition for software/SaaS.

Experience supporting audits and SOX compliance.

High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
