Part-Time Community and Student Engagement Specialist
Join Inside Higher Ed as a Part-Time Community and Student Engagement Specialist in Green Bay, WI. This role supports enrollment services, student finance, and student success initiatives.
Position Summary This position provides clear communication and support to students and external customers, ensuring a high-quality experience. The specialist will educate students on admissions, enrollment, student finance, and financial aid, while applying coaching frameworks to meet student and customer needs.
Essential Functions
Serve as the first point of contact to greet internal and external customers using various modalities.
Create and update student accounts in applicable information systems.
Assist students in navigating their self‑service portal, applying to programs, and enrolling for courses.
Support students in understanding the financial aid process, collecting payments, and arranging billing.
Utilize resources and internal systems to resolve customer inquiries.
Use coaching frameworks to assess needs, communicate resources, and engage in dialogue to ensure understanding of action plans or referrals.
Provide additional support to Enrollment Services as deemed necessary for student success.
Minimum Qualifications and Work Experience
Associate Degree.
Two years of related work experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, OneNote, instant messaging, electronic calendar, and Workday preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
