Village Green Health and Rehab, a part of SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, offers a 120‑bed skilled nursing facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and champion quality care for our residents.

Detailed Responsibilities
Hold overall accountability for leadership, direction, and administration of day‑to‑day operations associated with direct patient care.
Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing personnel including nurses, medication aides, certified nursing assistants, and nursing aides in training.
Guide staffing procedures.
Set objectives and long‑term goals for the nursing department.
Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures.
Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high‑quality standards.
Control budgets and monitor expenditures within the department, including supplies and payroll.
Resolve issues and deficiencies by completing performance improvement plans.
Manage record‑keeping procedures.
Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations.
Report directly to the Administrator.
Qualifications
Maintains a current/unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
A passion for working with seniors.
1+ years of nursing management in the long‑term care industry, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
Experience tracking, trending, and analyzing infection control and other clinical data.
Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
Great communication and people skills, including a strong rapport with surrounding hospitals and organizations.
Outstanding organizational and stress‑management skills.
Aptitude for problem‑solving.
Willingness to stay abreast of changing standards in nursing administration with strong knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
