Who are we? The SRPMIC is a sovereign tribe located in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Bounded by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Fountain Hills, the Community serves over tribal members, and all persons conducting business over approximately 96 square mile area of residential, agricultural and commercial lands, as a full‑service government entity. The Community also operates tribal enterprises in diverse industries.
What the job looks like The SRPMIC’s Information Technology (IT) department is seeking an experienced
Power BI Data Analytics Developer
who excels at translating customer needs and complex data into impactful visual stories and actionable insights. In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to understand their goals and design interactive dashboards that engage users, reveal insights, and bring data to life in meaningful and creative ways. You’ll play a key role in customer success, supporting solutions from concept through delivery by contributing to testing, training, and user adoption. Reporting to the IT Assistant Director (EA, Dev & Cyber), you’ll assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of interactive dashboards that add lasting value to customers day‑to‑day decision‑making. Collaborating closely with database administration, development, and application support teams, you’ll help ensure solutions meet both technical standards and customer satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in data analytics, strong dashboard design skills, and a proven ability to partner with customers to transform their data into insights. Proficiency with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), MDX, and SQL is required, while experience with additional analytics platforms such as Tableau or Qlik is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related IT discipline
Three (3) years experience creating BI solutions with a strong focus on Power BI and digital storytelling
Three (3) years solid grounding in DAX, Power Query (M) and SQL
