What You’ll Do

Guide clients through assessments, job exploration, and career preparation.

Conduct practice interviews and provide on-the-job coaching as needed.

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers across Kansas City.

Assist clients with job applications, onboarding, and workplace success.

Track progress, document outcomes, and maintain accurate case records in Therap.

Participate in outreach activities to promote PALS U Careers and community awareness.

Support summer work programs and team projects as assigned.

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED (required); associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

1+ year of experience in employment services, job coaching, or human services (preferred).

Strong communication and organization skills with a client-focused approach.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems (Therap experience a plus).

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle (required).

Ability to complete CPR, First Aid, and employment support certifications.

The Role at a Glance

Pay: $21.53/hour + mileage reimbursement + weekend differential pay

Schedule: Full-time; hours vary based on client needs and caseload

Classification: Non-exempt with benefits and paid training

Work Setting: Community-based throughout the Kansas City metro area

Reports To: Employment and Community Coordinator
