Location: Zanesville, Ohio (43701) — Ohio nursing jobs
Assignment Type: Travel RN (Locum Tenens)
Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg (primarily Respiratory unit; float to Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and more)
Start Date: October 20, 2025
End Date: February 9, 2026
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM — 7:30 AM), every other weekend required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week (facility may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract)
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,780 – $1,910
On-Site Position
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Ohio RN license — Registered Nurse
Active BLS certification
Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience (must be able to read Telemetry)
Proficiency with Epic EMR (competency tested on day one)
At least 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
Ability to float between various Med-Surg units
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional nursing care to adult patients on the Respiratory and other Med-Surg units
Monitor and interpret Telemetry strips accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care efficiently using Epic EMR
Provide compassionate support to patients and families
Adhere to all facility protocols and safety standards
