The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. Mar Albà, utilizing deep RNA-seq and Ribo-seq techniques to validate novel genes. Responsibilities include constructing gene deletion mutants, performing yeast transformations, and maintaining lab records. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Molecular Biology or a related field is required, along with practical experience in microbial genetics.
