Overview We are looking to add an experienced, motivated executive chef for our Elior Independent School Dining team in Durham, NC. As an executive chef, you will have the opportunity to prepare delicious, healthy food for guests.
Responsibilities Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation. Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met. Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
Qualifications Must-haves:
At least ten years of progressive culinary experience, including the development and execution of vegan and vegetarian menus. Proficiency in Microsoft software programs. Experience with budget statements.
Nice-to-haves:
Associate’s degree in culinary arts.
Work Location North Carolina School of Math and Science- Durham
Compensation Compensation up to $65,000 / year based on experience.
