Regional Sales Manager – Kansas City The Regional Sales Manager role in Kansas City focuses on driving sales growth within the HVAC sector. This position requires expertise in business services and a strategic approach to managing client relationships and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Management

– Oversee sales activities within a defined geographic region, ensuring coverage and growth.

Client Relationship Development

– Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, and architects.

Solution Selling

– Present and promote custom HVAC and environmental control systems tailored to client needs, including commodity replacement equipment/solutions.

Sales Strategy Execution

– Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company goals.

Project Coordination

– Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure product specifications meet customer requirements.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management

– Identify new business opportunities, manage leads, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Technical Consultation

– Provide product knowledge and technical support during pre‑sales and post‑sales phases.

Market Intelligence

– Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategy.

Reporting & Forecasting

– Track sales performance, prepare reports, and forecast revenue for the region.

Training & Representation

– Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings; occasionally train junior sales staff or clients on product features.

Qualifications

3–10 years of HVAC sales experience.

Custom equipment or solution sales experience.

Engineering degree preferred; relevant industry technical sales experience can supplement.

Ability to travel to Canada for training.

Strong independent work ethic with ability to work in a team environment.
