BEST OFFICE TO BE A DENTAL HYGIENIST! LOOKING FOR FULL TIME OR PART TIME DENTAL HYGIENIST DELAWARE CERTIFIED. $55 PER HOUR WE GIVE 1-HOUR APPOINTMENTS FOR REGULAR PATIENTS AND 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES FOR NEW PATIENTS. THIS POSITION DOES NOT OPEN VERY OFTEN. APPLY QUICKLY.
Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
Take and develop dental x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
Document patient care and treatment plans in electronic medical records systems
Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
Conduct patient assessments and screenings for oral health conditions
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist
Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft or Epic
Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient assessmentsAbility to work well in a team environment, collaborating with dentists and other dental staff members
Excellent manual dexterity for performing precise dental procedures
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
