How You Will Contribute
Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age
Document medical necessity in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner
Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Perform timely and accurate QI assessments
Position Summary Direct the department’s activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. Lead, develop, and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technology, service level determination, and complaint management. Plan and monitor staffing activities, hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education. Prepare and monitor departmental budgets and ensure compliance with funding allocations. Coordinate internal and external audits and foster an environment that encourages professional growth and evidence‑based practice integration.
Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
Additional Information Serve both internal co‑workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
Handle sensitive and confidential information and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA). Apply policies and procedures, and possess knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities Manage the work of others, covering planning, assignment, scheduling, and review of work. Ensure quality standards. Oversee hiring, termination, training, development, performance review, and corrective action of staff.

What We Are Looking For Applicants must hold a current state RN license.
Additional Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Minimum one year of experience preferred.
Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
ASLS certification preferred.
