Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities This role includes, but is not limited to, providing vocational supports to all clients working in the canteen, staff/coach/supervise the canteen and its clients, manage till accounting for money turned into budget and finance, assist with menu development and cooking of items, oversee ordering of canteen products, and work closely with Industrial Workshop Managers to ensure daily vocational supports are provided.
Ideal Candidate
Experience working with clients who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Ability to obtain Serve Safe Certification.
Ability to work with a diverse population.
Knowledge
Work processes and practices pertaining to a professional subject area.
Effectively supporting clients’ vocational opportunities.

Skills
Independently implements work processes and develops procedures within the limits set by SDDC policies.
Informs, directs, and trains clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in canteen operations and guidelines.
Maintains positive working relationships with all customers and clients.
Maintains inventories of supplies, recommends products, works with suppliers, and resolves vendor problems.
Schedules repetitive activities into daily program routines.
Monitors processes to ensure required steps and documentation are completed in compliance with program guidelines.
Coordinates jobs, establishes and adjusts priorities, identifies and resolves obstacles, and re-evaluates and modifies production processes.
Adjusts production to respond to SDDC needs.
Initiates internal budget processes, compiles budget data, and monitors deadlines.
Records statistics, maintains sales records, compiles inventory reports, monitors deadlines, and maintains program compliance.
Adapts equipment and work areas to meet SDDC needs.
Determines production techniques and implements them.
Assesses client production capabilities and develops vocational programs.
Inspects product quality and overall production process.
Reviews the flow of specific jobs through production.
Performs other work as assigned.
Abilities
Interprets and comprehends program guidelines and procedures.
Communicates effectively.
Gathers, interprets, reports, and uses information on assigned activities.
Assesses process effectiveness and develops changes or alternatives.
Trains and provides guidance to staff and service users.
Uses computers and software.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with staff and clients.
