Senior Business Analyst – Order & Application Engineering

Schneider Electric is leading a digitally enabled transformation to strengthen North American operations and deliver a best‑in‑class experience for our customers and employees.

What will you do?

Lead the identification of order engineering/application engineering business requirements and develop the customer story backlog for SAP.

Serve as a change agent, supporting the Product Owner in resolving issues between legacy and future state ERP systems.

Manage transfer of SAP knowledge to key users, data owners, and local management team.

Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and capture user feedback to identify enhancements of existing functionality.

Lead and participate in stakeholder workshops and create/validate end‑to‑end process flows for manufacturing plants.

Contribute to localization of project documentation (training materials, test scripts, etc.) and be accountable for site readiness (planning, support, audit, training).

Be the business representative for the program with an understanding of current order engineering/application engineering processes and systems.

Be accountable for business transformation, solution decisions, data accuracy, and organizational change management.

Participate in end user training and hold key users and data owners accountable for project deliverables.

Lead the key users and project team participation in solution testing.

Travel and Telecommuting

This position requires up to 50% travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico. Telecommuting options are available within the U.S.; candidates located in the Nashville area are strongly encouraged to apply.

Working conditions

Tight deadlines and multiple priorities, requiring decisive decision making in a fast‑paced environment.

Willing to work outside the standard 8‑5 schedule, across time zones, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by tight project deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (application/mechanical etc.) is required.

3‑5 years of experience in order engineering, plant engineering, or related areas.

Knowledge of order engineering/application engineering operations and business processes across plants.

Familiarity with engineering tools such as ACE, Order Engineering systems, and Order Data Management systems.

Experience with Engineer‑to‑Order, Configure‑to‑Order, and Make‑to‑Order processes.

Strong data analysis skills, change management and communication skills.

Leadership and management skills; ability to balance a workload while working on multiple priorities.

Listening, negotiation, decision making, problem solving.
