Job Description Our client based in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Bilingual Accountant for an in-office direct hire position.

Support day-to-day financial operations of a growing construction organization
Emphasis on payroll accuracy, job costing, and financial reporting
Collaborate closely with senior accounting leadership
Serve as a key internal resource for payroll and accounting-related inquiries
The ideal candidate is a flexible, solutions-oriented accountant comfortable in a dynamic small-company environment that requires adaptability and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage in-house payroll, including taxes and compliance
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasksConduct bank and general ledger reconciliations
Manage job costing and ensure proper allocation of payroll and expenses
Track and analyze employee expenses
Maintain accurate financial records for internal and external use
Generate financial reports utilizing income and expenditure data
File and remit payroll taxes as well as other financial obligations
Operate within accounting and financial systems
Assist with new hire paperwork and onboarding procedures
Provide support for general administrative and clerical tasks
Communicate with employees regarding payroll, benefits, leave, and related queries
Translate financial or government-related communications into Spanish as necessary
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience
Experience with internal payroll processing
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and verbal)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership
Preferred experience in construction or job-cost accounting
Preferred experience in supporting payroll with multiple pay types
