The New Business Development role is responsible for managing territory growth through prospect engagement, along with identifying and aggressively prospecting new business accounts. This position requires an enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated individual who can use their sales tools and knowledge to achieve and exceed sales goals.

New Business Development Manager (NBD) Role The New Business Development Representative (NBD) is essential for coordinating sales appointments for the Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to develop, encouraging company growth within their respective territories.

Aggressively prospect & develop new customers within region territory

Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly and monthly goals

Create large cross-branch and cross-regional accounts.

Identify and qualify new prospects and assess customer needs

Coordinate with Sales staff to identify and hand over Key accounts for ongoing retention, service and expansion

Manage & develop new relationships to grow revenue

Utilize online resources to generate new prospecting leads

Effectively manage, support and update all appointments to sales

Manage the territory through marketing strategies, including email and cold calls

Identify/Educate/Engage decision makers and key influences

Follow processes with accuracy and attention to detail such as collecting data and updating CRM.

Primary focus on new inspection accounts- eligible to sell all segments to new locations

New Business Development (NBD) Requirements

KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of 3-5 years of B2B outside sales experience required. Industrial or Manufacturing Sales experience highly preferred.

New Business Development (NBD) Skills

Strong business development focus, willing to prospect and uncover new potential customers and develop new opportunities

Experience with cold-calling, new customer prospecting skills, lead generation

Strong problem-solving skills

Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM for KPI tracking

Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, and Word

ABILITY A passion for providing top-notch customer service to our customers.

Base Salary ($65k-$75k) plus commission program.
