The New Business Development role is responsible for managing territory growth through prospect engagement and aggressively prospecting new business accounts. This position requires an enthusiastic, positive, and self‑motivated individual who can use their sales tools and knowledge to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities
Aggressively prospect & develop new customers within regional territory
Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
Create large cross‑branch and cross‑regional accounts
Identify and qualify new prospects and assess customer needs
Coordinate with Sales staff to identify and hand over key accounts for ongoing retention, service, and expansion
Manage & develop new relationships to grow revenue
Utilize online resources to generate new prospecting leads
Effectively manage, support and update all sales appointments
Manage the territory through marketing strategies, including email and cold calls
Identify, educate, and engage decision makers and key influencers
Follow procedures with accuracy and attention to detail such as collecting data and updating CRM
Primary focus on new inspection accounts – eligible to sell all segments to new locations
Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience (Industrial or Manufacturing Sales highly preferred)
Strong business development focus; willing to prospect and uncover new potential customers
Experience with cold‑calling, new customer prospecting, and lead generation
Strong relationship development skills
Strong problem‑solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM for KPI tracking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
A passion for providing top‑notch customer service to our customers
