Store Supervisor(age 18+)

is responsible for supervising the daily directives of our camp store department. This is a

SEASONAL , full-time position and reports to the Assistant General Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:

Responds to and/or resolves guest complaints as appropriate or escalates park/guest feedback to management as appropriate

Follow the directives of the AGM as needed to maintain a safe and professional environment for employees and park guests

Assist with the research and identification of vendors and merchandise for the store.

Assist in checking in all merchandise, entering it into the POS, and complete required reports promptly and accurately.

Order merchandise of any type with the approval by the AGM prior to vendor submission.

Schedule staff, monitors payroll, and maintains compliance with a payroll budget

Conduct daily stand-up meetings to prioritize the days requirements with the assigned shift staff

Participate in the recruitment process and selection of talent for the store department

Participate in the development and execution of the training of new employees as well as the ongoing training of all staff members

Daily Responsibilities:

Supervise and motivate a team of store clerks

Provide coaching around performance and customer engagement skills

Ensure store is clean, neat, organized, and well-stocked

Order and maintain an inventory of store merchandise in an organized and efficient manner

Ensure that all employees conform to a 40-hour work week.

Monitor cash drawers and ensure cash handling procedures are followed and charge to site transactions are paid in full

Other Essential Duties:

Collaborate with park and home office departments

Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish

Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines

Utilize and learn the reservation system for daily planning

Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Customer service experience required

Experience in hospitality and leadership preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Basic computer skills

Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills

Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy

Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Work with minimal supervision

Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to remain in a stationary position

Regularly move throughout the store

Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and crawl

Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry and lift
