Associates are expected to take ownership of sophisticated matters while having guidance from seasoned employment litigators.
The practice You will work on a range of employment defense matters, focusing on wage and hour, PAGA, and class and representative actions. Typical responsibilities include:
Defending employers in individual, class, and PAGA actions
Drafting and arguing dispositive and class‑related motions
Managing written discovery and e‑discovery in complex cases
Taking and defending depositions, including plaintiffs and corporate witnesses
Participating in mediations, settlement strategy, and trial preparation
Advising clients on litigation risk and strategy
