Responsibilities
Reviewing and entering new referrals to RO physicians.
Data entry of demographics and insurance information for new referrals to the practice.
Addressing referral issues with community providers.
Maintaining compliance for co-management documents with co-managing providers for cataract surgery.
Assisting with urgent referral scheduling.
Maintaining multiple platforms and resources receiving referrals.
Maintaining fax inbox receiving referral follow-up notes.
Qualifications
Displays high level of professionalism and gives superb customer service.
Careful attention to detail a must!
Obtains and reviews patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy.
Verifies insurance eligibility when entering referral information.
Schedules urgent referral appointments.
Coordinates with other staff to ensure optimal patient experience.
