Job Title JSF Machining Supervisor

What You Will Be Doing Responsible for the day-to-day execution of F35 machining operations for PMM, Autodrills, Flex Trac/Countersink Robots and Shim Cell. Will be responsible for building a best-in-class machining organization for precision milling, drilling and boring operations. Leading a diverse team supporting performance expectations, demonstrating full-spectrum leadership, attendance control, training, machine tool functionality, volumetric compensation systems, spindle head interchanges, geometric translation, cutter set-ups and balancing, Blum Laser Tool Verification, Tool Changers, Fire Suppression Systems, minor machine maintenance, thermal compensation methods, shuttle and carrier systems, material handling methods and equipment procedures, product key characteristics and measurement techniques, and critical process requirements. Will be required to conduct duties of safety agent for loading/unloading of components and tools. Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Significant knowledge in one or more of the following Manufacturing Operations areas: Precision Milling, Composites Machining, Siemens 840D Controls, Robotic Endeffectors, Volumetric Compensation, Spatial Reference System Machine, Geometric Translation

Electronic Probing, Machine Calibration

Desired Skills

Working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems including PDM, SAP, SFM, and EWI. Previous development experience.

Demonstrated Leadership Skills and/or experience managing union-represented employees—a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from a standard 40-hour, five-day work week; others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our paid time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday off.
