Req for ATL21 GPU Buildout Backfills Levels from L2, L3, L4 depending on needs/Openings.
Team will handle troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside an enterprise DC environment. Shifts: 7‑7 AM and PM for days and nights. Schedules: A Side: Sunday–Tuesday, every other Wednesday. B Side: Thursday–Saturday, every other Wednesday.
Responsibilities
Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission.
Run, label, and stage power & networking cables.
Perform DBD removal only (no scanning).
Follow procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads.
Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, and guides.
Conduct physical audits of datacenter assets.
Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance.
Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program.
Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs.
Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and produce reports.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
5+ years of DC experience (lead or management experience for Lead Technician, 5+ years dedicated DC experience for L4 Technician, 3+ years DC experience for L3 Technician).
Verbal and written communication skills, problem‑solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Skills Data center technician, data center, facilities technician, deployment, troubleshooting, Break/Fix.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Team must be willing to commute to the Fayetteville, GA site.
Experience Level Intermediate Level.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fayetteville, GA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $44.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
