Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks. What steps should you take if you suspect you’ve received a fraudulent text?
Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

HR Assistant Details:
$21.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)
The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with Human Resources policies, facilitates recruitment processes, maintains employee records, and provides support to employees regarding issues and inquires.
HR Assistant Qualifications:
Associates degree in a Business or Human Resources related field is preferred.
2-3 years of experience in an administrative or Human Resources support role preferred.
Strong written and oral communication; presentation of training materials, processing of various internal and government required documentation.
Work requires continual attention to detail in processing invoices, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in Word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.
Applicant may be subject to a background check.
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
