Under general direction of the County Road and Bridge Superintendent and Airport Supervisor, plans, schedules and performs maintenance on buildings, grounds, and minor equipment maintenance work at two county airports. See job description for additional details.
Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one-year certificate from technical school; twelve to eighteen months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some experience demonstrating administrative skills to manage public relations, general office procedures, including public presentations is desirable. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Class B Commercial Driver License with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsements. Possession of certification, or ability to become an Airport Certified Employee (ACE). Certified in or ability to become certified in Airfield Lighting Maintenance.
